Hi Guys, It has now been two weeks since I started my home grown new body program. I can't say that I am thrilled with the results. In the past, my workouts have been based solely on weight training. As I have mentioned before, I love going to the gym. I am noticing my body mass increasing, but I am not losing much weight. And I certainly don't have a new body or renewed energy. I just talked with my dad, and he feels it is important to vary the types of exercises I am doing. By doing different exercises and repetitions, he believes I can spend less time working out and get better results. John Rowley has always been a hero of mine. John combines exercise with motivation to get great workout results. A co-worker told me John has united with Steve Holman, the author of the Old School New Body program. I have always trusted John to be honest. I am now convinced that purchasing the Old School New Body program is the best course of action for me. John Rowley is very respected in the corporate world. Companies like IBM hire him to be a keynote speaker at their conferences. It is rare to find a fitness guru who is as comfortable in the gym as he is in the boardroom. I didn't know anything about Steve Holman, co-author of Old School New Body. I have never heard his name before. After research, I found Steve to have excellent credentials. I am most impressed that he has been editor-in-chief for "Iron Man Magazine" for 15 years. Here is an excerpt from Simply-shredded where Steve Holman is interviewed: Becky Holman is the nutritionist in the group. She is over 50 and has raised two daughters. Like most mothers with active children, there was little time for taking care of herself. When she was in her twenties, she enjoyed working out but gave it up for 15 years. She paired up with Steve, her husband, to develop The Old School New Body Plan. As you can see in the pictures below, the plan has worked well to give Becky a new body. I am very impressed with the authors of The Old School New Body Plan. Steve and Becky Holman are great examples of how the diet worked for people over fifty. I am even more impressed with the fact that John Rowley has joined forces with the Holman's. His endorsement is a great Old School New Body endorsement for me.
My challenge is to record how the old school plan works for me and other men in their 30's. I will leave you with an image that expresses my feelings right now. Excited to get started, but cautious on the details.
